In 1964, filmmaker Bruce Brown decided to follow two surfers around the world in search of a perfect wave. On a budget of $50,000, with a 16mm camera, he captured the essence, the adventure, and the art of surfing in the documentary movie The Endless Summer. They travel to Senegal, Ghana, Nigeria, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Tahiti, Hawaii and California.
*If bad weather is forecast on the day of event, all pre-film entertainment will be hosted inside the Village Cinema.
