Directed by Ridley Scott and a major influencer of science-fiction films, video games and pop-culture, ‘Bladerunner’ is easily regarded as one of, if not the most influential of science-fiction films.

Set in a dystopian future Los Angeles in 2019, synthetic humans known as ‘Replicants’ are bio-engineered by the powerful Tyrell Corporation to work on ‘off-world colonies’. When a fugitive group of Replicants escape back to Earth, burnt-out cop Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford), reluctantly agrees to hunt them down.

*from our recent Facebook poll, The Directors Cut was voted as the most popular version of Bladerunner (there’s 7 to choose from!), to screen for this event.
